Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This document was drafted for the archive's development build and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before production use.

Purpose of the archive

The CulturalFascist Archive documents acts of cultural suppression — censorship, bans, destruction of heritage, persecution of artists and writers — as verified historical incidents with dates, places, institutional actors and published sources.

The site has two surfaces: the archive of verified incidents, and a news section of editorial reporting. Both are provided for public-interest documentation, research and education.

Incidents, not individuals

Records concern events and institutional actors — states, agencies, courts, organizations, or unidentified mobs. The archive is not a registry of individuals and hosts no accusation profiles of private persons. Documented public victims may be named.

If you believe any content identifies a private individual improperly, contact us (see the corrections section below) and it will be reviewed with priority.

Submissions and license

By submitting material you confirm it is truthful to your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant the archive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, edit, translate, publish and preserve the submitted material as part of the archive.

Submissions enter an editorial review queue. Nothing is published without verification against sources, and there is no guarantee a submission will be published.

Accuracy, corrections and takedown

Every published record carries its sources. If you find an error, or wish to request a correction or a takedown, write to archive@culturalfascist.com. Requests are reviewed by editors and demonstrated errors are corrected; takedown requests concerning private individuals are prioritized.

No voting, no public accounts

The public site has no user accounts, no comments and no voting — not on records, not on reporting, and not on sponsored units either. Credibility comes from sources, not crowds. Editorial accounts exist only for the archive's staff and accepted reporters; sponsor accounts exist only to manage that sponsor's own campaigns and can reach nothing editorial.

Sponsorship and disclosure

Some slots on this site are sponsored. They are sold directly by us and served from our own servers: no ad network, no exchange, no third-party tag or script. Sponsorship buys a placement, a section and a date range — never placement against a particular story, and never any part of the evidentiary record: the permanent incident dossiers carry no sponsorship.

Sponsored material carries one of exactly two labels, Advertisement or Paid Post, above the unit and again on the page the click leads to. It is set in its own type, never inherits the editorial article template, and is never written, commissioned or reviewed by the newsroom.

Political and issue advertising is not accepted, in any form and from any advertiser. Restricted categories — gambling, alcohol, firearms, crypto and financial products, adult, health claims and payday lending — are decided by a named member of staff before anything runs. Every creative is reviewed by a person; nothing reaches a reader automatically.

Every campaign that has ever run is published in the transparency archive with the sponsor's registered legal name, the payer where that is somebody else, the flight dates, the targeting and the total impressions. Sponsors receive no data about readers, because none is collected: see the privacy policy.

Sponsorship carries no editorial weight. A sponsor cannot commission, review, alter, delay or withdraw a story, and being refused as a sponsor has no bearing on our coverage of that company.

Acceptable use

You may not use the site to harass, defame or target individuals, to scrape personal data, or to disrupt its operation. Quoting and linking records with attribution is welcome.

Liability

The archive is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the archive and its operators are not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. External links, including those in sponsored units, are the responsibility of their publishers.

Changes and contact

These terms may change as the archive grows; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
